Restricted upper spine mobility is a symptom in which a person has less flexion, extension, or rotation of the upper half of the spine (his back). He may have to use much more effort in order to turn his upper body. Causes include bone disorders of the spine, injuries, surgeries to stabilize back problems, etc.
