Depends: If you are speaking about a scoliosis or a lordosis or kyphosis. I am assuming you mean a scoliosis curve. Are you having symptoms? If not, and no change over multiple x rays, you probably have had it for decades. If you just started having it, may be a postural or leg length issue, which can be corrected. If you have had it since a teen, most likely permanent. Treatment depends on symptoms.
