Raised red skin lesions
There are many causes of red "spots" which when touched are not flat on the skin but instead are elevated off the skin. They can be red from scratching or from being bitten by a bug or be a blister from a burn. Some raised lesions have fluid in them such as a blister. When the spot or leasionis red it is usually inflamed. Whelps from an allergic reaction can also be red and raised lesions.
