Red skin blotch: Not enough information to guess a diagnosis. Does it come and go in minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years. Is it a single spot? Does it have scale? Or any symptoms like itching or burning? When it leaves can you tell that anything was there? Does it start small and grow or does it appear fully formed right away? These are some of the factors your dermatologist will take into considera.
