Non steroidal anti inflammatory overdose
NSAIDs do have side effects and therefore the FDA recommends the lowest effective dose for the shortest period of time. In rare cases overdoses may occur. The biggest concern is an acute injury to the kidneys. Some medications such as diclofenac in high doses may affect the liver. Aspirin may also be considered an NSAID and in high doses may cause GI upset and ringing of the ears.
