Brain bleeding is a serious medical condition that can lead to coma and death. Since the brain is in a hard, non-expandable skull, excess blood from a rupture blood vessel can quickly occupy a lot of space and compress the brain tissue itself. Symptoms include headache, nausea, vomiting, and changes in pupils and mental status.
