Brain diseases include many different areas and etiologies, but generically this refers to disorders of the brain tissue. They can be grouped into six categories, each of which requires a different treatment: tumors, traumatic in nature, neurodegenerative (such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's), congenital, infectious, or cerebrovascular.
