MRI of breast
Breast MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) is a test in which a person's breasts are scanned using a strong magnetic field, without x-rays. Breast MRI does not replace breast mammograms or ultrasound scans, but MRI used to verify suspicious findings on mammogram/ultrasound, or to screen very high risk women (with a strong family history of breast cancer), or to look into very dense breasts.
