Maybe: Ultrasound is one component of a comprehensive breast health strategy. Other imaging studies (like mammography) and clinical examination are also key. Ultrasound may or may not be helpful in evaluating skin changes. It is useful in helping to rule out an underlying mass. There are many types of skin changes, some suspicious and others not. Clinical evaluation would best determine the next step
