Could be...: Its possible that this is pharyngitis related to an std or other atypical bacterium, but there are other possibilities. You don't mention if the 2 rounds of antibiotics were prescribed by your pcp after an exam, or if they were lying around in your medicine cabinet from a previous event. There are many classes of antibiotic, you must use the right one for your condition. Best advice, see your pcp.
