Testicle lump: The testicle has several structures that can "fool" us in thinking they are abnormal lumps, but unless one does not regularly exam their testicles, only a doctor can tell what they are. A visit to the urologist will be the quickest way to definitively know, but one's family doctor can be helpful. The family physician will most likely require an ultrasound, but the urologist may do in his office.

Yes he should: Most likely an epididymal cyst, which is benign. But, should see a urologist. Benign finding will give both of you peace of mind. Good luck.
