Vulvar bumps: Women can have sebaceous cysts along the labia which appear as pimples. They are benign, though if left alone, may harden, so i would recommend compressing them while taking a hot bath so the cyst is emptied. They frequently will recur. Other reasons can be inflamed hair follicles.

Need to get checked: You should have your gynecologist take a look at these. No way to assess without an exam.

Dr. can evaluate: A pap smear is a test for cervical cancer, not an check for stds. Any bumps around the pubic area could potentially be a sign of an std. It could also be something like irritation of the hair follicles if you shave your pubic hair. You might consider seeing an ob/gyn for an evaluation.

Folliculitis: It is probably folliculitis, inflammation or infection of hair follicles. If you shave use only new disposable razors once. Keep the area dry. Use white cotton underwear without fabric softner or anti static products. If no better then you probably need a perscription. Call your family doc!
