Groin growth. : Well this could be many things. It would be best to have this evaluated to reliably establish what it is and to obtain appropriate treatment. Refrain from having sex to ensure you don't spread it to someone else if by chance it is an STD. Whatever it is treatment is a very strong likelihood.

Likely folliculitis: With the development of pubic hair, you become susceptible to folliculitis -- i.e. inflammation or minor infection at the base of a hair. (You may be able to see a hair in the center of the pimple.) The only STD that could do this is genital herpes, but herpes doesn't involve hairs and is uncommon in the pubic area. You'll be at higher risk of folliculitis if you shave your pubic hair.
