SEE BELOW: If you're 39, this is likely a long standing fear. Deconditioning and training can help, but i'd choose individual psychotherapy and work out how such a fear developed and what you've done to keep the fear. I sense a lot of material under such a symptom - like a sliver under the skin. Ignoring it doesnt make it go away. You can work this out.
