Varies: You must have had some evaluation to make this determination. Low count can be from dietary issues, genital tract issues and some systemic illness and lifelong if from genetic or hereditary issues. Your urologist should be consulted to sort this out and see if you can be helped.

Low sperm count: The most common problem in up to 1/3 of men may be a varicocele or dilated testicular veins. This increases the testicular temperature impeding sperm production. Low male hormones affect up to 5% of guys with this problem. Too often the problem is made worse when a physician gives the male testosterone. This can make the problem worse.
