A member asked:

Why are my genital warts turning yellow after treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Warts are treated: Treated warts typically turn a lighter color afterwards because the cells have been killed. These dead cells will typically slough off within a week. Often, providers have women follow up in a week or two, and will treat the wart again if the entire wart is not gone.
