Yes: The dosage of hormones in birth control pills are much lower than in previous eras. Skipping pills makes that cycle unprotected and pregnancy can occur. Skipping birth control pills can also lead to irregular bleeding.

NO : If you have normal period next day you are pregnant, if you don't start the pills you will.
