A member asked:

A week after i shaved, the outside of my vagina is itchy and smells like sulfur (similar to hair removal cream - even though i didn't use cream). i put sudocrem on it but that seemed to have made it worse?

Give it time to heal. If there are any raw ares, apply triple antibiotic ointment. Quit shaving your genitals, it is unhygienic. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!

This odor is characteristic of what occurs when bacteria in your skin breaks down sweat. I see no harm in applying an antibacterial cream. Clean the area with soap &water, pat dry with a clean cloth first. Avoid tight fitting underwear and jeans. White cotton panties would be preferable. See your MD as needed.
