You do not need any more syphilis testing; negative MHA-TP makes it 100% certain you don't have syphilis. Your RPR was what STD experts call biological false positive. BFP results are very common, up to 1-2% of all RPR tests, more often in women than men. In rare cases, it's a sign of an autoimmune problem but that's unlikely if you are generally healthy. For future tests, have EIA not RPR.

I was not aware that you could bet lab tests done without a doctors request. Tests are ordered as indicated by docs who then interpret them. Each test mentioned is good for its indication
