Is wearing a condom and pulling out before ejaculation enough to prevent pregnancy?

A properly fitting condom applied before intercourse paired as you say with pulling out is effective birth control. Poorly fit condoms can leak and there can be sperm in the sexual fluids triggered before ejaculation.

It is a good method - but not 100% effective as sometimes slippage of condom or leaking of sperms may occur.

You are practicing safe sex but if so concerned you could wear a double condom for better protection. If any leakage or tears ,you now have the ultimate in protection.
