Hello so my testicles have been hurting for about a month. the pain is achey, it comes and goes but is almost always there at night. i was tested for stds and came out negative for everything. i was on doxycycline for a week?

As you apparently know, STDs like gonorrhea and chlamydia cause epididymitis. But that's almost always severe pain and tenderness of only one testicle. Pain of both testicles that comes and goes probably is not epididymitis or other infection; not surprising that doxycycline didn't help. If it continues, see a urologist if not already doing so. In the meantime, this doesn't sound very worrisome.
