Unknown. A woman who has had high risk HPV long enough to develop cervical cancer is most likely not contagious, but could be. If the cervix was removed there would likely be less risk. Condoms do not provide absolute protection against these strains, and they do not produce genital warts. A male that becomes infected with these HPV strains will often never have symptoms or know.
