Since you don't have an UTI, the color of your urine reveals your level of hydration. A dark yellow shows you need to drink more water that your body needs to function with. As you drink more water the urine becomes a much lighter yellow, until almost a clear liquid. This a level of hydration you want to reach. Now you must start drinking much more water, at least 45 or more ounces a day.
