I am an older male, 68 but i had normal sexual function prior to a hernia surgery two months ago. i still achieve normal erections considering my age however i can no longer ejaculate upon orgasm. i could prior to the surgery. is this permanent?

This will depend on cause. At your age most common would be rusty arteries going to penis due to atherosclerosis. But sudden change after surgery suggests relationship. I would discuss with surgeon who knows what was done exactly and what the usual course is after their surgery in men like you. You did not mention it surgery was on both sides?

Assuming it was an inguinal hernia- this surgery will not cause your symptoms as the nerves controlling ejaculation are nowhere near the area. Pl see a Urologist
