May worsen symptoms: 80% of women experience pms which includes a few mild physical or emotional symptoms. Premenstrual dysphoric disorder is less common. Birth control pills lessen cramping and bloating but could cause depresion and irritability to worsen. You can ask your primary care physician for a referral to a women's health specialist or look for one in your community through medical center websites.

Clean up diet: Generally cleaning up your diet can help a lot with PMS sx. Remove inflammatory foods, dairy, grains and sugar. Want to ensure you are getting healthy fats, healthy proteins and lots of green leafy vegetables to begin
