A member asked:

If you never had a std, pid, surgery in the pelvic area, can you still have a chance of blocked fallopian tubes if you are not getting pregnant and all hormones/ovulation look fine?

STD often occurs without symptoms. Your concerns about problems not getting pregnant should be addressed by a doctor in person. Fallopian tubes can be seen with testing that passes a camera to the area or by some imaging. Although I good doctor can consider several factors that affect fertility. Like a sperm count.

A successful conception requires input from 2 fertile partners. If you have tried for more than a year a consultation involving both would be worthwhile. Blocked tubes are far down the list of causes to be considered but can be verified by testing. A fertility center can do the evaluation, treat whatever issue is found or give you options to consider.
