I think you asked this question before. The risk is low and if it happens the child is most often asymptomatic and if the child develops lesions, doctor can treat them. Good news is most HPV infection, including the cancerous strains, will resolve within 12 months.

The main HPV problem importance in newborns is recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), i.e. warts in the upper respiratory tract. Up to half of all women have genital HPV at the time of vaginal delivery, but the frequency of RRP is estimated at only 4-5 cases per 100,000 kids. Thus the vast majority of exposures cause no problem, probably because babies are protected by maternal antibody.
