You probably have cervicitis (inflammation of the cervix). Did your STI testing include Mycoplasma genitalium? (Until recently, not included in many STI testing panels.) As you seem to understand, STIs are common causes of cervicitis, but some cases are simply unexplained. They appear to be harmless. Keep working This is quite common and usually has no explanation. Discuss with your doctor.

It could be a bacterial infection or just local inflammation. Keep area clean and use OTC cortisone ointment. If not better in 8-10 days have your Gyn re-check you
