I always did gonorrhea and chlamydia testing, and they always are negative. But I never get tested for herpes. I recently did a std panel for stds including herpes. Results show HSV-IgG 1& 2; 56 H and 5.53 H. Does that mean I had it in the past? HELP?
I was sexually assaulted in 2012. Ive not had Pap smear since than but have attempted one. How likely would it be to have cervical cancer? I read HPV usually causes no harm and most dont get cancer. Im going schedule a Pap smear again and try it
42 y F G3P3 hx normal paps and Neg HPV x 20 yrs. 1 abnormal pap as a teenager with neg HPV testing at that time. No hx of STI. Went for routine Gyn visit Pap was neg but had parakeratosis in other findings neg HPV. No symptoms, no intravaginal FBs?
My IgG HSV-1 results came back positive with an index value of 1.35. Ive never had a positive STD/STI result in the past, have had NO SYMPTOMS, IgM was negative. Should I retest considering the low index value? I read this could be a false positive?
