This can be due to mild trauma to the cervix during intercourse which causes an abrasion. This usually is not a problem for long-term bleeding and it is good that you have been to your women's health provider to verify your Pap smear being normal.

Bleeding during sexual intercourse, unless it is menstrual bleeding, should not occur. Perhaps you are bleeding from your birth control, in which case another (stronger) cyclic progestin may be indicated. Hopefully, you continue to trust the doctor who found no other cause of bleeding. If not, find a trusted gynecologist for re-exam.
