My doctor told me im positive for hsv 2 results were 1.25h positive. i told him i have no lesions and no out breaks i asked if there is any meds to prevent or help prevent spreading he gave me nothing and said u cant prevent it. what can i do?

Result means that “once upon a time” you had an episode of (probably genital) herpes. Virus likely still in your body (forever) but not active. May stay inactive forever - if so, no Rx needed. Alternatively, may recur periodically. If so, active Rx is available. Check with (another) doctor
