You should be checked by a proctologist or surgeon to make sure you dont have any warts. Hpv, if you have it does not clear up by itself.

In reply you asked when CIN starts. It can happen soon after getting HPV, or not for years. Most like your wife never get CIN. If she does, on average it's 5+ years before progressing to cancer.

And that means plenty of time for cure with a minor procedure to remove the CIN or even early cancer. If she follows her doc's advice, she will never be at risk of life threatening cancer. No worries!
