The odor of poop is triggered by bacterial growth in the digestive tract as they feed on undigested waste. Germs get there naturally within the babies first day when they swallow feeds. Infants have weak belly muscles & often use their breathing/fussing muscles to help poop, These are all natural findings. There are probiotics that can alter the poop smell.
