Likely inflammation: Usually if you have intermittent testicular pain, or orchitis, it could be either viral irritation or inflammation, a torsion of the testes appendix, or inflammation of the insertion of the spermatic cord, or the epididymis. As long as the testicle looks ok, isn't red, swollen or engorged, or getting more painful, usually ibuprofen and watchful waiting will help. Otherwise get it checked.
