A member asked:

I have soreness in my right testicle, a similar feeling to "blue balls" if you are familiar with the term. i had it yesterday from around 2 am to 5 am and today at the same time. i have not been sexually active recently?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely inflammation: Usually if you have intermittent testicular pain, or orchitis, it could be either viral irritation or inflammation, a torsion of the testes appendix, or inflammation of the insertion of the spermatic cord, or the epididymis. As long as the testicle looks ok, isn't red, swollen or engorged, or getting more painful, usually ibuprofen and watchful waiting will help. Otherwise get it checked.
