Possible infection: of poorly healing torn tissues in the rectal area. If pain worsens, and or fever, see your doctor or urgent care.

Agree with Dr. B: It may also be from an infection that had a latent period and only became evident 10 days later. See a doctor to have the lesion evaluated.
