A 21-year-old member asked:

My urethral opening on my penis hurts a little when i press on it. it doesnt hurt to pee but should i go check it out? can it be an infection or something related to an std ?

Maybe: If you are sexually active & may have been exposed to a STD a simple screening is always a good idea. Chlamydia & gonorrhea both can have few if any symptoms in patients of either gender & mild symptoms as noted may be present. The outlet can also be irritated by some skin germs that would cause the same pattern. The only way to know would be to get it checked out.

Probably not: The discomfort may be due to the pressure on the skin at the tip of your penis when you have an erection. Not serious.
