"Sour vagina taste" : The odor from some yeast (fungal) infections may be "sour" like the smell of commercial yeast used for making bread. There are many kinds of "yeast" which cause vaginitis, some of which do have the described odor. Try a commercial "over the counter" anti yeast medication, and if no relief, see your gyn physician for a culture and other remedies.

Vaginal itching: This is likely due to some local irritation. I would try OTC hydrocortisone cream 1% three times daily for a week and see what happens.
