Laparoscopy: The most definitive way to diagnosis endometriosis is with an outpatient surgery called a laparoscopy. The doctor can look for evidence and treat it. Sometimes endometriosis can be assumed based on a history and physical exam. Endometriosis patients do not always have intercourse pain
