A member asked:

Can having one bout of diahrrea two hours after taking your birth control pill count as a missed pill?

Diarrhea/bcps: By two hours, an active bcp is already absorbed, so it does not "count as missed". Even if an active pill is missed, the birth control protection is not lost. If the active pills are not started within seven days of the last active pills, ovulation and therefore pregnancy can occur, even if no more active pills are missed.
