Can hemorrhoid or anal tissue cause heavy bleeding?

Usually: not ( since the rectal muscles act as a "tourniquet" stopping the bleeding...HOWEVER it does occur in some cases .suggest you have a surgical opinion! There have been cases of ANEMIA due to heavy recurrent ano-rectal bleeding!
Hope this is helpful!
