A member asked:

I accidently took emergency contraceptive pills levonorgesterol 1.5mg 2 tablets instead of 1. what should i do.and.rhe side effects of it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Morning after pills: The pill you took is like a regular oral contraceptive pill, and other than not being a reliable way to avoid pregnancy, will not produce any significant side effects except for perhaps mild spotting when they wear off. If you miss your period, get a serum HCG test about 10 days after the period is due to see if you are pregnant.
