I have hpv 16 in genital area: i fear to spread it to other part of the body (mouth, anus). after cleaning genital area is washing hands enough to avoid spreading the infection? how much time towels used to dry hands afterward remain infectiuous?

HPV: Keep the genital area clean and dry. ... Wash your hands thoroughly after touching the area with warts. Do not scratch the warts. Avoid sexual activity until the warts have completely healed. Use latex condoms during intercourse.
