No: It would be best to have 6cm cyst removed to increase chances of pregnancy. There is more to starting clomid than just knowing your follicle count. You would need many other tests on both partners first to ensure you are a good candidate. You should discuss further with your obgyn.

Maybe/not yet: PCOS is a complex disorder. The follicle count is not that important. The large cyst needs further evaluation & could worsen with clomid, it may resolve on its own, it may need a course of OCPs or even an invasive procedure. Most important, understand that PCOS is an endocrine & GYN problem and you should be under the care of both endocrinologist and GYN working together and are familiar with PCOS
