Not all STDs tested: Not all STDs are normally included in STD testing. Standard testing usually is for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV. These results usually are available within a week (often within a day or two). Routine STD testing usually does not include herpes, HPV, trichomonas, or others unless there are symptoms that suggest them.
