Infection: This could be caused by a cervical or vaginal infection. The most common vaginal infection is bacterial vaginosis and the main symptom is an odor. In this case the peroxidase positive lactobacillus which are the most common bacteria in the vagina get killed off, the pH rises and anaerobic bacteria over grow. It is easy to diagnose and treat but you need to see your doctor to do so. Good luck.
