PID diagnosis: PID is diagnosed by pelvic exam, sometimes ultrasound exam; plus lab tests for main causes (chlamydia, gonorrhea). The main symptoms are low abdominal/pelvic pain and vaginal discharge, sometimes uncomfortable urination, vaginal bleeding. Fever in severe cases. If you think you might have PID, get care immediately; it can be very dangerous if not treated quickly. Good luck!
