Unusual behavior...: Using gloves is necessary not only for hygiene, but to ensure that a medical procedure does not cross the line into an intimate encounter. If you otherwise like your gyn (and don't want to switch), tell him/her to use gloves next time. If s/he thoroughly hand washed before and after the exam (with medical grade soap), then you are probably not at risk for contagion.
