Saw the urologist finally. During exam he said I had a double varicocele which is causing the testicular atrophy. It could also be causing the low libido and ed. Would surgical correction of the varicose veins in the testicle reverse the atrophy ?
Ultrasound showed Indeterminate solid appearing lesion in the lower pole right testicle without internal vascularity that was hyperechoic and centrally isoechoic measuring 6mm. Urologist did exam and said it was tunica cysts. Also normal tumor marker?
Ultrasound at er found 6mm hyper-echoic, centrally isoechoic lesion with no vascularity in right testicle. Went to urologist who did a physical exam and said its was a tunica cyst and order tumor markers test which was negative. Should I relax now?
Testicle disappeared/shrunk. Urologist first said I had some atrophy did blood work was normal, including physical exam. A couple of days later testes still small was in serious pain, he prescribed Naproxen, pain went away & size returned slightly?
Urologist noted a small epididymal cyst on the bottom of my right testicle, which I can feel myself. Did ultrasound, no abnormalities noted. However, the cyst wasn't found either. Is it common for epididymal cysts not to show up on ultrasounds?
