A member asked:

How likely is it for me to get pregnant during ovulation without using a condom but if he pulls out and i am on birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely.: Since one of the mechanisms by which oral contraceptive pills prevent pregnancy is by preventing ovulation, you are not likely to ovulate or to get pregnant if you have been taking your pills regularly. OCPs are 92 to 94 % effective which means that they will significantly reduce but do not eliminate completely your risk of pregnancy. IUDs and subdermal implants are much more effective than OCPs
