A member asked:

If i used a condom during sex but am not on birth control, what would be the chance i can still get pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Proper use of condoms can reduce risk to about 1%. Unfortunately, many do not cover up until well into sexual activity after sperm containing fluids have already been shared. If you cover up before starting, you are likely protected. You must also use a new barrier for every return to activity.
